Are you feeling down, dejected, discouraged, and in despair? Here are three truths God wants you to know from the Bible to empower you: Incomparable Power, Incomparable Grace and Love That Surpasses Knowledge.
Incomparable Power
One, the Incomparable power of God. The same mighty power that God showed when raising Jesus from the dead is at work in you.
Therefore God is able to finish every good work he has begun to do in you. He won’t leave like you an unfinished or incomplete work of art. For the Incomparable mighty power and strength of God is at work in you.
Incomparable Grace
Two, incomparable gift of grace. You don’t save yourself. Your good deeds are not enough to do so. Instead your salvation is God’s gift. You receive and accept it by faith when you believe that Jesus shed his blood on the cross for the forgiveness of your sins.
Therefore this gift of God’s grace is favour that you don’t deserve but still given lavishly to you in Jesus. God, who is rich in mercy, in his kindness has shown us the incomparable riches of his grace to us in Jesus.
Love That Surpasses Knowledge
Three, the love of God is immeasurable, surpassing knowledge. It is so wide and long and high and deep. You cannot understand it.
Therefore rejoice in God’s love for you. Unconditional, limitless, everlasting, steadfast, faithful, enduring is his love for you.
Yes God loves you. Jesus loved you when he gave himself on the cross for you. The Spirit of God pours out this love into your hearts.
Don’t look for feelings and emotions. God’s love for you is true and unchanging even when you don’t feel it or even when you pass through tough times.
See, you are adopted into the family of God as his son or daughter with the incredible promise of sharing whatever that belongs to Jesus. You are not only a child but an heir of God. Hallelujah!
