Danger of Mobile Phones Your Ticket to Hell

Mobile phones are an integral part of our lives. But if you are not watchful there is danger lurking. They can become your ticket to hell.

Mobile phones bleed your precious time. They connect you with others; but prevents you from spending valuable time with your loved ones near you. Thus they steal, kill, and destroy your trusted relationships.

Mobile phones entertain you. Often they act like jokers in a circus while you are in a burning spaceship spiralling downward @ the speed of lightning to hell.

Mobile phones intrude into your private space. It is not uncommon for a husband and wife to keep scrolling on their mobiles way after midnight while they lie in the same bed and cross sacred boundaries virtually.

What King Solomon wrote is true for them: “Stolen water is sweet; food eaten in secret is delicious!” Little do they know that death to their relationship is creeping in through the windows.

The danger of mobile phones is that they keep you devilishly busy. There is this Fear of Missing Out (FOMO). So the first thought in the morning is to check your screen. The dawn that should start off with a prayer of thanks is drowned in a flood of notifications. The bell of death tolls for your time with God.

Mobile phones offer you lots of apps, games, and distractions. Remember distractions are temptations that lure you away from your goal. You lose focus rapidly. You then lose altitude and crash.

Mobile phones are useful in many ways. They help us in our work and in fast communication. But when mobile phones make you forget that life is not all about chats, reels, shorts and long unblinking nights staring at the screen; then you are walking lazily into the jaws of a hungry crocodile’s mouth open wide.

Is there a solution? I think a solution is far away because there are psychology experts working round the clock and behind the scenes to keep you more addicted and permanently hooked to this killer disease and pandemic of social media on mobile phones.

They cause you to plunge down the cliffs into the raging fire in the pits of hell. What a horrible sight it is going to be: Millions of people bowed down looking at their mobile screens gnashing their teeth while worms cover their body and the stench of burning flesh arises.

Therefore turn your focus to do something creative. Get engaged in activities and hobbies that give you a positive enthusiasm in life. Be in touch with family and friends. If you love God, take time to read God’s Word and pray.

Life is far richer and bigger than mobile phones. Listen to the watchman on the wall sounding the warning signal. Don’t reach for the mobile even when the impulse to do so is tugging at your heart.
