Wish I Could Say I Am Sorry

I am sorry.
It takes courage to say those words. For you are taking responsibility for what went wrong.

I am sorry.
It shows your humility. For those who are proud well never admit that they are wrong.

I am sorry.
It shows your sincere willingness to change. For there is no point in repeating mistakes again and again.

I am sorry.
It shows that you are a human being and not an automated robot. For we tend to err in spite of all our good intentions and best efforts.

I am sorry.
Life is about relationships. Like oil that lubricates hinges which moves huge doors are these words. Saying I am sorry can heal hurts, forgive wrongs, and restore friendships.

So let go of your pride. Take that first step. Instead of arguing that you are right just tell the other person “I am sorry.”

What a joy it is when you are brought back to God and people are brought near to each other with those simple words!
