Other than fear, the greatest paralyzing factor in life is perhaps discouragement. We should fight against and conquer it.
As human beings, we are often prone to be discouraged. It is bad for us because it makes us wallow in self-pity. It blinds our eyes to see others who are in far worse situations than we are in.
So let us cheer up accepting the fact that we’ve blundered at times. At the same time let us fortify ourselves with the thought that all is not lost.
Still there is fight left in us to fight one more round. As Dwight D. Eisenhower, four times President of USA said,
“What counts is not necessarily the size of the dog in the fight; it’s
the size of the fight in the dog.”
